Question 3 years ago on Introduction. Hi, I got a free Gameboy today and it had a pair of leaked batteries in it. I've already taken it mostly apart and cleaned all the contacts so it now turns on. But that's all. It turns on, does the Gameboy beep, then a small bar moves from the top of the screen to the middle, with a "registered" r after it, as if it should say Nintendo. How can I fix it? Thank you! Reply 3 years ago. Happy to help! This may sound silly, but is there a cartridge in it?
